ECOFLOW Kit Energy 4 kWh
ECOFLOW Kit Energy 4 kWh - A34278
Ideal for a complete electrical installation in the converted van, van or boat, the Energy 4 kWh ECOFLOW kit is composed of a lithium battery & a power supply unit . A control & distribution panel is offered to access off-grid energy independence with the Energy Ready & Independance kits!
Designer & manufacturer of lithium batteries & solar generators, ECOFLOW has extensive expertise in energy production & storage systems.
Install a system for storing, producing and distributing electricity in a converted van or camper van, simple to implement and efficient. This is what the manufacturer ECOFLOW promises you with the 4 kWh Energy kit!
The proposed storage power of 4000 Wh in 48 V is equivalent to 12 V lithium batteries of 340 Ah . This way, you can supply large energy needs. Ideal for operating a refrigerator, hair dryer, induction hob, microwave & even washing machine!
The ECOFLOW Lithium battery, delivered with the Energy Kit, is equipped with LiFepo4 technology , ensuring a particularly high number of cycles: 3500 discharge cycles at 80% before the battery loses capacity. Equipped with a heating system , the battery can be used even in negative temperatures, down to -20°C. The heating system will automatically activate below 0°C.
A true all-in-one power supply unit , the ECOFLOW Power Hub ensures the centralization of charging, energy storage & grid distribution devices. You can easily connect ECOFLOW lithium batteries, solar panels, van alternator, generator, control panel & electrical distribution panel.
The connection is made using a dedicated ECOFLOW cable, so you can be sure not to make any mistakes in the connections. Please note that for some elements, the Power Hub will only be compatible with ECOFLOW devices, for example the brand's 48V Lithium batteries. We'll detail all of this below!
The Power Hub is therefore intended to centralize a maximum of elements, whether they are charging devices or 230 V converters! You will therefore be able to use the following functionalities :
- MPPT regulators: 2 MPPT regulators are integrated into the Power Hub. They each accept 30 A input & can therefore accept a 1600 W solar park, or 3200 W in total. The Alternator input can also accept a solar panel , & so you can consider installing a solar park up to 4800 W!
- Combined DC/DC charger booster: One input is dedicated to recharging the alternator or solar panel, accepting 1000 W of charge! You can connect the vehicle's alternator OR a solar park. In order to optimize the charge as much as possible, it is advisable to couple a reinforced alternator of at least 150 A.
- 230 V charger: Recharge the batteries via the mains, when you have access to 230 V. Equipped with the X-Stream fast charging function, you can charge the ECOFLOW lithium battery pack with up to 3000 W of power (provided the terminal is sufficiently powerful).
- Generator Input: An input is provided for connecting a 3rd battery or ECOFLOW Smart Generator generator! The group automatically takes over from solar production if your battery bank drops too low, 1800 W of charge. It is possible to install generators of a different brand than ECOFLOW
- 230 V converter : 3600 W output for the AC network, the X-boost mode allows to go up to 5000 W. The peak current can reach 7200 W. In case of connection to the 230 V network, a By-pass mode allows to supply the 230 V AC outputs without going through the converter & therefore there is no more power limit.
- DC/DC step-down: The ECOFLOW Lithium batteries to be connected to the Power Hub are 48 V. To power the 12 or 24 V DC circuits of the converted van, the voltage must therefore be lowered. A 48 - 12/24 V step-down is therefore provided for this purpose.
The Power Hub allows you to create 2 separate electrical networks in your van: AC 230 V & DC 12/24 V. This will have the advantage of ensuring the power supply of certain specific devices in 12/24 V (such as the water pump or diesel heating) & of being able to operate all the rest of the devices in 230 V (refrigerator, household appliances, water heater, etc.).

Specifications
What are the advantages of the ECOFLOW 4 kWh Energy kit compared to a traditional electrical installation?
- Easy installation: The ECOFLOW Energy Kit is designed to be installed in Plug & Play, thanks to the wiring supplied with quick connector. You therefore avoid the tedious step of wiring with crimping of terminals etc.
- 48 V system: compared to traditional 12 & 24 V systems, ECOFLOW Lithium batteries are 48 V, thus limiting heating & resistance. The distribution panel always has a 12/24 V output to power electrical devices.
Can the Energy Starter kit work alone? No, the Starter kit cannot work without the Smart Panel AC/DC. The ECOFLOW Smart panel is an electrical distribution board that connects directly to the Power Hub output, in AC & DC. It offers the possibility of creating 6 protected DC departures & 6 AC departures (delivered with the Ready & Independance kit).
What should I add to complete my installation with the Ready & Independance kit? For an optimal installation, you can optimize the installation with a solar park up to 3600 W.
Why choose an Independance kit? To read electricity consumption & energy production data, the Independance kit offers a control panel specially designed to connect to the Power Hub, via RJ45 cables. You can also connect your Smartphone via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi using the ECOFLOW application.
How are the different elements connected to the Power Hub? The batteries, solar panels, alternator input are all connected via specific ECOFLOW cables. These cables ensure correct & easy assembly. No crimping, no soldering, no polarity reversal possible!
Is it possible to connect solar panels of any brand? Yes, absolutely. You just have to respect the maximum input intensity of 30 A.
Can you connect a River or Delta portable battery to the Power Hub? No, it won't work. The power hub can only work with ECOFLOW 48V batteries.
